Firmware updates for Wave XLR deliver the latest audio enhancements, features, and bug fixes. 

ℹ️ When performing a firmware update, it is critical that the update is not interrupted. While updating, please ensure the following: 

⚠️ Do not disconnect Wave XLR. 

⚠️ Do not close or quit Wave Link.

⚠️ Do not shut down your computer.

Wave XLR Firmware Version Information

Changes in firmware 1.3

Requires Wave Link 1.5 or newer.

• Added Low Impedance Mode for the headphone output.
• Added new Clipguard Indicator functionality to display Clipguard activation level.

Changes in firmware 1.2.2

Requires Wave Link 1.3.2 or newer.

• Support for new hardware revision.

Firmware Update Steps 

1) Ensure Wave Link is updated to the latest version.

• Download Wave Link from https://www.elgato.com/us/en/s/downloads

2) Open Wave Link

3) Click on the Wave XLR channel settings arrow

4) In the Wave XLR settings popover click on Update firmware

While the firmware update is in progress: 

⚠️ Do not disconnect Wave XLR. 

⚠️ Do not close or quit Wave Link.

⚠️ Do not shut down your computer.

5) Once the firmware update successfully completes, you can use Wave XLR and Wave Link.
