Elgato Wave XLR - Clipguard Indicator – Elgato

The Clipguard indicator will show the level of Clipguard activation on the LEDs of Wave XLR.

Clipguard will dynamically adjust the audio input level of Wave XLR to reduce clipping if the incoming volume is too high.

The clipguard indicator shows how much Clipguard has to reduce the gain.

ℹ️ Any amount of Clipguard activation indicates that the incoming audio levels are too loud.

To reduce clipguard activation, reduce the gain level in the Wave XLR settings.

These are the requirements to enable the Clipguard indicator.

1) Open Wave Link

2) Open the Wave XLR settings by clicking on the settings button in the Wave XLR channel input.

3) In the settings popover check the Clipguard indicator box.

You can optionally set the color for the LEDS when Clipguard is activated.
