This article will explain using the One-Click Setup for alerts and Widgets in our Marketplace Packages.
We'll use our Dot Wave Stream Package One-Click Setups to show examples.
After you've purchased the package, saved the files to your PC, and installed OBS, you're ready to roll.
In the Folder you saved your design files in, check for the "One-Click Setups" Folder. From there, you'll want to click on StreamElements > Then on the One-Click Setup you want to set up. (In this example, we'll be using the alerts for Twitch)
From here double, click the link that is relevant to you. As mentioned above, we'll be using Twitch, but the layout should be the same for every platform. You will be loaded into the StreamElements page on your browser by clicking a link.
Once StreamElements opens, it will automatically create a new overlay for you which will include your alerts & any custom options that come with them. Next, we'll want to ensure that the alerts look the way you want and expect them to look, let's head to the "edit" page.
Once on the edit page, click "Alert Box" and click on the cog wheel for whichever alert you wish to edit. For this article, we will be using the "Follower" alert.
Once you're in the settings for the alert you want to edit, you should see options labeled such as "Alert Text, Alert Visuals, or similar"
Once you're done editing, make sure you've saved it on the top right. Always click twice to be sure!
Now that you've got what you're looking for let's start getting your alerts or widget into OBS. Start by copying the URL at the top right of the overlay editing page. Simply click this button, and it will auto-copy your browser source URL.
