1) Connect your camera following the included Quick Start Guide:
2) Connect Prompter to your computer with the included USB cable.
3) Visit http://elgato.com/downloads to download Camera Hub software for Windows or Mac.
Note: If Camera Hub Software remains on this screen, please follow the instructions for your OS below.
Windows
In Display settings, ensure the displays are set to "Extend", shut down Camera Hub software in Task Manager, and launch it again:
Note: Using the "X" in Camera Hub for Windows will not close the software.
Mac
Ensure the computer is not mirrored to Prompter. This can be done in two ways depending on your setup:
1. Use Command+F1 or Command+Fn+1 to toggle between mirrored and extended.
2. Ensure that Mirroring is disabled in the System Settings --> Displays (turn off mirroring):
