When moving to a new software version, you don't have to uninstall the old version - the installer will do that for you. However, If you need to manually uninstall your current software for troubleshooting purposes, you can get instructions here.

Updated Twitch API
Game Capture HD has been updated to use the latest Twitch API so you can continue streaming without interruption. This change to Twitch happened in Mid February, 2022.

Elgato Facecam is now supported as a webcam source in Stream Command scenes.
Bug fixes & Performance Improvements
- Cam Link Pro is detected as an unsupported device. To capture video with Cam Link Pro, please download and install 4K Capture Utility.
- Resolved an issue where the signal from a new revision of HD60 S would not be captured.
- Resolved an issue where the wrong firmware update was applied to a new revision of HD60 S.
Added PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S to the input device menu.
Note: Selecting an input device does not impact the ability to capture a console. This setting is cosmetic except for mobile devices and retro consoles that may require cropping or other video options.
Bug fixes and performance improvements
- Updated the Facebook Live integration to re-enable live streaming to Facebook.
- Updated the YouTube integration to add Nonprofit & Activism as a category for live streaming and video uploads.
- Updated to the latest Facebook API version so you can continue streaming to Facebook Gaming.
- Easily open your Facebook Live stream by clicking on the Facebook icon while live.
- Updated the YouTube streaming integration to the latest version.
- Removed Mixer as a streaming destination.
- The Twitch login page opens as it should when you add your account for live streaming.
- We squashed a bug that prevented live streaming to Twitch. Stream on!
- We've eliminated an issue that sometimes caused Stream Deck to crash.
- Elgato capture devices not supported by Game Capture software are now being detected and corresponding info gets displayed in user interface.
