There are a few different ways to capture a screen shot using Elgato Game Capture HD.
Windows Screen Shots
To take a screen shot of Elgato Game Capture HD content when using Windows, please follow these steps:
1) Visit the Capture or Edit section
2) Play video, and navigate to the frame of video you want to capture
3) Press Control-Alt-Shift-C on your keyboard to create the screen shot
Control-Alt-Shift-C will also work when playing video Full Screen.
Alternatively, you can right-click on the frame of video you want to capture, and then select the Screen Shot to Desktop option. This right-click option only works when playing recordings in Edit mode.
Mac Screen Shots
To take a screen shot of Elgato Game Capture HD content when using a Mac, please follow these steps:
1) Visit the Capture or Edit section
2) Play video, and navigate to the frame of video you want to capture
3) Press Command-Shift-C on your keyboard to create the screen shot
Command-Shift-C will also work when playing video Full Screen.
Alternatively, you can select the frame of video you want to capture, visit the Edit menu, and then select Screen Shot to Desktop.
