Elgato Light Strip can be connected to a Wi-Fi network for wireless control from a PC, Mac, iOS device, Android Device, or Elgato Stream Deck.

Light Strip - Wi-Fi Network Requirements

Elgato Light Strip requires a 2.4GHz network to connect wirelessly. The following configurations are supported:

• Wireless configuration: 2.4 GHz, 802.11 a/b/g/n
• Supported encryption: WPA2 + AES, WPA + TKIP/AES

Light Strip - Advanced Network Settings

Ensure that these services are enabled on the Wi-Fi router:

Multicast

Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)

mDNS

Ensure that these services are disabled on the router, as they could prevent Light Strip from pairing or wireless control from other devices:

AP/client isolation

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)

Proxy Servers

IGMP Proxy
