Elgato Light Strip — Reset Wi-Fi Configuration

The following article is for a product that is now considered Legacy (EOL) status. Because of this, the information below may not match what is possible with current Elgato hardware and software.

To pair Elgato Light Strip to a new network, or to resolve connection issues, the Wi-Fi configuration of Light Strip can be reset. 

 

Factory Reset Light Strip

 

1) Push and hold the RESET button with a small tool for at least 15 seconds until the light flashes Red 3x.

2) Light Strip will reboot and color cycle before reengaging pairing mode. Once you're done, reconnect it to a 2.4 GHz network using a wireless Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS device.
